Belu publishes Impact Report 2023-24

Today at Belu, on Earth Day, we have published our annual impact report covering our finances, growth, net profits to WaterAid, customers, partners, operations and sustainability achievements.

Belu is a fully transparent drinks business and social enterprise with its own trademarked Purpose P&L. We regard ourselves as trendsetters and are the exclusive bottled water partner for WaterAid, we’re also the only partner of theirs to give them all of our net profits. We do this because we believe in using business as a force for good and we see and support the vital work WaterAid carries out transforming lives worldwide.

Belu by numbers

The 2023-24 Impact Report includes highlights across the organisation and wider industry:

  • £5,879,155 Given to WaterAid
  • 113,619,318 Bottles made into new bottles
  • 391,944 Lives transformed with clean water
  • -30% Reduction in CO2 intensity (CO2 per litre poured) vs. 2022

What’s next?

And Team Belu aren’t stopping there! With new impact partnerships with WRAP, Blue Marine Foundation and the Sustainable Restaurant Association, there’s plenty more to come throughout 2024 and beyond.

So, what’s next? Belu is launching in Singapore, its third territory, releasing a new refillables range and expanding its partnerships to include proactive sustainability groups and initiatives which encourage entrepreneurship. The social enterprise is also popping up in many new workplaces and offices across the UK and Asia, as well as introducing a ‘Service in Action’ function in order to support a growing customer base.

Each and every day, little by little, Belu is changing the way the world sees water.
