Nahema: My first 6 months as Customer Relationship Lead

After 7 months, I now feel fully immersed in Team Belu. Coming from a completely different industry, it has been a rollercoaster of a start, and I am so grateful to jump into hospitality through the lens of Belu.

I get to meet incredible businesses, and even more importantly, a community of committed individuals trying to do the right thing for the planet and its people. 

After working on a few different projects in the Customer Relationship Team (stock availability management with our Ops team, external communications, and dealing with unprecedented prices increases across all raw materials), my favourite part has remained the same: meeting our customers.

Whether it is our wholesalers, supporting us through trading challenges; or our end customers sharing our message and purpose out in the world; it is always a pleasure to see them, grab a coffee in amazing venues and learn about how the businesses we work with are driving their own sustainability agenda.

The highlight since I started has to be World Water Day, with everyone at Belu coming together to amplify our message and the heart-warming responses from all our partners! 

To think there’s even more to come, I couldn’t be more excited for the rest of 2023.
