We don’t export our mineral water and every decision we make, from the suppliers we work with to the routes our water travels, is shaped by a commitment to keeping our supply chain local and our footprint low.
No miles wasted
Every part of how we make and move Belu stays close to home. We work with our UK suppliers, Montgomery Waters and Encirc who are less than 70 miles apart. We purposely chose a supply chain that keeps our emissions as low as possible.
WE DON't EXPORT
Shipping our water halfway around the world makes no sense to us. That’s why Belu mineral water stays in Britain. Our decision not to export is a deliberate one, it means fewer lorry miles, fewer emissions, and a smaller footprint.
A WELSH SOURCE
Our dedicated source is found in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Montgomery Water sits beneath a small range of former volcanic hills in the mid-Wales county of Montgomeryshire in the little rural village of Churchstoke.
SUPPORTING LOCAL
Belu is more than just water; it’s a movement. We are proud to be a social enterprise that invests in giving back to the planet. That’s why we partner with local organisations that do some amazing things across the UK including Thames21, The Rivers Trust, WRAP and The Blue Marine Foundation. To date we’ve invested £69,000 into water stewardship project such as the clean up of the Rivers Ravensbourne in Bromley meaning that by stocking Belu you too are making a big impact.
