Thank you, Nat

Nat speaking at an event

Over Nat’s time as Co-CEO, Belu has grown, been tested, adapted and strengthened, often in challenging conditions, always with purpose at its core. As Natalie concludes her time as Co‑CEO, we want to take a moment to say thank you, and to recognise the contribution she has made to Belu’s journey. One that has had a profound effect on our purpose, our future and our people.

Natalie joined Belu at a point where belief in purpose led business was being tested – not just in theory, but in practice. During her time at Belu, the business navigated times of significant uncertainty, including the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on hospitality, alongside the everyday realities of running and growing a values driven organisation. Through this period, Belu stayed true to its founding belief: that business can be a force for good.

That belief was strengthened in tangible ways. Purpose was embedded more deeply into Belu’s governance, aligning the business with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and protecting our mission for the long term. Belu continued to grow, partnering with new high profile and scale customers across the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore, demonstrating that commercial progress and positive impact are not opposing forces, but mutually reinforcing ones.

There were also moments of experimentation and learning, from new product ideas to evolving approaches to climate action, all part of building a business that is willing to lead, adapt and improve. Decisions to move away from carbon offsets towards UK‑based, nature‑based solutions reflected a commitment to credibility, transparency and accountability in how Belu approaches environmental impact.

One of the most defining milestones of this period which Natalie championed, was the transition of ownership to the Belu Foundation, ensuring the business is wholly owned by a charitable entity. This step protects Belu’s purpose for the future and reflects a long‑term view of what responsible business can look like.

Just as importantly, Belu has continued to invest in people during her time as Co-CEO. Internally, that has meant prioritising learning, wellbeing and development, creating space for teams to grow together and equipping them with the skills needed for an uncertain and fast‑changing world. Externally, it has meant working ever more closely with customers and partners to create our latest Served with Purpose campaign which is highlighting businesses and people who are embedding purpose into their operations.

Belu’s story has always been bigger than any one person. It is shaped by the collective efforts of its people, partners and customers, past and present. Natalie’s time as Co‑CEO forms part of that story – one that has helped strengthen Belu’s foundations and clarify its direction.

As Belu moves into its next chapter, our purpose remains unchanged. The work continues, built on what has been established, with confidence in the path ahead. We will change the way the world sees water by 2030.

We thank Natalie for her significant contribution to Belu and wish her well in what comes next.

– Team Belu
