World Water Day 2023 🌍 The Highlights 💧

On World Water Day we announced our new net profit figure – £5.5m to WaterAid since 2011.

The United Nations theme for this year’s World Water Day was ‘Accelerating Change‘, something we can all get behind.. getting on with it!

We commissioned artist Venessa Scott, who painted ‘The Wave’ in Borough Yards. Next to the art we had public display boards with QR codes to raise money for WaterAid.

In the lead up to World Water Day we handed out 50 flyers to local businesses to tell them about the artwork and Belu.

We printed, framed and delivered 132 customer artwork gifts to say thank you for their support.

We created and distributed a social media toolkit for customers.

We handed out Belu waters, ginger beer and lemonades to the public in Borough Yards.

The story was covered by Bankside, Community Southwark and Following the Footprints.

At auction ‘The Wave‘ (painting) sold for £1,000.

In total, we raised £1,260 for WaterAid.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in this year’s World Water Day 💙
