A quick note about the London Mayoral election 2024

You may have seen our Co-CEO Natalie Campbell MBE in the news lately.. But just in case you haven’t, we’ll bring you up to speed.

Natalie is running as an independent candidate for London Mayor in the 2024 election. We wholeheartedly support Natalie in her campaign, we’re very proud to have such an inspirational and tenacious team leader and we are cheering her on from the sidelines. As always, we’ve got her back because that’s how it works in a small team like ours. We’re always ready to lend a hand and keep spirits high because that’s how we roll at Belu. It’s part of the reason we have been named a Great Place to Work for two years in a row.

Natalie will be on sabbatical up until the election day on 2nd May and as much as we love having her as Co-CEO, if she gets to be Mayor we’ll be very happy for her and London – so watch this space!

Belu is an apolitical organisation. We don’t comment on anything outside of our remit (but we love talking about water, drinks, nature-based projects and sustainability). We give 100% of our net profits to WaterAid, who are also apolitical, and we have been in partnership together since 2011. We do this because we believe in using business as a means for good to benefit communities worldwide that don’t have access to clean water, decent toilets or sanitation. We believe everyone, regardless of political leaning, deserves these basic fundamental human rights.
